Debra Pazos was born in New York and lived in New Jersey and Florida before moving to El Paso with her family when she was a teenager. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a minor in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management. She also has a certification in Electrical Engineering. Debra attended Hebrew School from age 4 until after her Bat Mitzvah. As an adult volunteer she was the Youth Advisor for Kadima (middle school children’s youth organization) and USY (United Synagogue Youth for high school students). She also taught Sunday School kindergarten and ran Tot Shabbat, a Shabbat program for 3-7 year olds, for many years. Debra has always had a passion for teaching. In addition to teaching Sunday School, she has tutored students from elementary school through college. After retiring from Corporate America, she worked with students in public school as an in-school academic tutor until, to her delight, she was invited to join the staff at The Cherry Hill School.
